Legacy of Lovers have released a new single, “Forever Care Too Much, Don’t Care For Much To Do”, led by Canadian songwriter Ryne D. Trevlon. It’s out now in digital format, alongside a lyric video.
Trevlon does not want to tell people what the song is “about”. The idea is simple: let the track speak first, and let writers and listeners decide what they hear in it, without being handed a ready-made narrative.
That approach carries into the lyric video. The full text stays on screen the entire time, so there’s no scrolling line-by-line prompt. You can follow every word, dip in and out, or ignore the lyrics completely and come back later. The song is built to leave space.
The single was recorded on an iPhone 7 using the earbud mic for vocals and guitars, with other instruments performed on the phone screen (same approach used across the Calm Cool Connections EP).
