Fyres, the project led by Madrid-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Bob G Castro, is set to release its new EP "Like Waves" on January 23, 2026 via LDP Records.
Following the strong reception of his debut "Like Horses", the spanish band returns with a more mature, emotional, and expansive record that blends alternative metal, post-rock, electronic elements, and introspective atmospheres.
On this release, you’ll find more direct songwriting, memorable melodies, a deeper integration of electronic layers and ambient textures, and a more emotionally nuanced sensibility, all marking a evolution from “Like Horses” to “Like Waves”. Lyrically and conceptually, “Like Waves” explores themes of personal acceptance, inner balance, and the ability to flow with life’s natural cycles, picking up the thread begun on “Like Horses”, but from a more conscious and evolved perspective.
Production, mixing, and mastering were handled by Alex Tena (Bonecarver).
Drums were performed by Tweety Capmany (Hermana Furia, Avenues & Silhouettes) and recorded by Juan Blas (Nothink, Caboverde).
