German death metal band Heretics have released their new single, "Cerberus (Terzet for a Hellhound)".

The track is the second single from the band’s upcoming album Of Poets and Prophets. Based on the three-headed Cerberus, guardian of the entrance to Hell, the song draws on references to ancient Greek texts and builds around the image of a creature standing between the living world and the underworld.

"Cerberus (Terzet for a Hellhound)" features guest vocals from Daniel Klinteberg of Heretic Legion. Together with vocals from Fabian Marx and Tim Lobner, the song brings three voices into the same track, matching the idea behind Cerberus itself.

The single is accompanied by a lyric video created by Andrea Mantelli, with artwork made specifically for this release.
