Listless is a solo Depressive Black Metal project from Victoria, BC, Canada, led by Aidan Crossley (Liminal Shroud, Numenorean, Vaaltovashe). Released in April 2025 by Hypnotic Dirge Records, its debut album dives into themes of isolation and melancholic introspection. Emotionally resonant guitars, desperate howls, and sorrowful keys pull listeners into a hypnotic, endless void.

Aidan channels the intensity and expansive songwriting from his work in Liminal Shroud but focuses here on deeply emotive expression. Influences include Austere, Woods of Desolation, Coldworld, None, Gris, with depressive rock touches inspired by Lifelover and Psychonaut 4.

The album was recorded and mixed by Aidan at Circle A Studios in Victoria, Canada, and mastered by Cody Baresich.
