Greek heavy/thrash metal project Apöcalypse A.D. release new EP Prototype: Zero Hour on September 25th

Greek heavy/thrash metal project Apöcalypse A.D. will release the new EP "Prototype: Zero Hour" on September 25th, 2026. The release is self-released and will be available in digital format.

Hailing from Northern Greece, Apöcalypse A.D. is the sole vision of multi-instrumentalist Chris Gkioursanis, who performs vocals and all instruments. The project blends classic heavy metal influences with a more modern edge.

"Prototype: Zero Hour" is a post-apocalyptic modern metal EP exploring themes of inner collapse, transformation and awakening. Set in a world of industrial decay and psychological unrest, the songs reflect the moment when old structures fall apart and something unknown begins to emerge.

Heavy riffs, atmospheric textures and cinematic elements shape the EP, creating the sound of a world standing at the edge of reset.
