Israeli gothic metallers Fatum Aeternum bring "P.W.Y.P." back to life with new streaming version

Israeli gothic metal band Fatum Aeternum released their new single "P.W.Y.P." on September 25th, 2026. The self-released track is available now digitally.

"P.W.Y.P." originally appeared on Fatum Aeternum's 2012 EP "The Sermon", but the song has been radically rebuilt for its streaming debut. Its original '80s glam-rooted guitar riff remains, while the new version adds aggressive male vocals, a female counter voice, haunting cello and an epic gospel choir.

Those additions give the track a more layered and theatrical gothic character, turning its social commentary into what the band describe as a dark sermon. "P.W.Y.P." is the second single in Fatum Aeternum's renewed series of releases.

The song was recorded at Lodge Studios in Northampton, UK. Mixing and mastering were handled by Denis Saenko in Serbia, with additional mixing by Steve Gershin. The choir was arranged and recorded by Tayo Olawepo in Nigeria.
