The Portuguese outfit Master Dy present “Midnight Witch”, the new single, out now, that officially opens the doors to their upcoming EP, a new chapter driven by modern metal intensity, dark gothic atmospheres and a strong blend of music and storytelling. Inspired by Yonami’s comic The Midnight Witch, the track transforms the emotional journey of protagonist Leona Madika into a sonic experience that is fierce, haunting, and cinematic.

The song was born from the impact the comic had on the band. As they immersed themselves in the story, Master Dy found strong parallels with the themes that have guided their own artistic path: resilience, courage, and the relentless pursuit of something just out of reach. Each page resonated deeply and naturally evolved into melody, rhythm, and lyrical fire.

The lyrics, written by Dy Moob, interpret Leona’s determination as she travels across alternate timelines in search of her mother. The instrumental composition, crafted by Dy Moob and Mr Draco (Kebras), brings a modern and dynamic approach, blending darkness and intensity with the emotional weight of Yonami’s world.
