Spanish modern metal band Song of Anhubis return with their third full-length album, Ravaged Rage, released independently on July 1st, 2026. The record concludes a five-year writing and recording process that began in 2021 and reflects another stylistic evolution for the band, moving towards a heavier, more modern sound while expanding its vocal range.

Formed in 2012, Song of Anhubis first explored gothic metal inspired by bands such as Theatre of Tragedy, The Gathering and Sentenced before shifting towards a more eclectic and electronic direction on Reversed Reflection (2020). After an extended hiatus brought on by the pandemic and line-up changes, founding members Rei Veil and Polvareda Johnson continued writing new material, leading to the completion of Ravaged Rage in late 2025.
