[news] Containecks announce new EP "Musik zum Putzen" Out September

Graz-based progressive nu-metal and rapcore band Containecks will release their new EP "Musik zum Putzen" (Music for Cleaning) on September 5, 2025. The record brings together six songs: three reimagined versions of earlier fan favourites and three brand-new tracks that were shaped in rehearsals and already tested live.

Frontman Pauli, who stepped up to vocals in 2024 after years as the band’s guitarist, is at the heart of this new chapter. His move has given the group a sharper and more direct sound, while staying true to their roots.

The EP blends heavy riffs, rap-driven vocals, synths and metalcore elements, always with a sense of irony that has long been part of the band’s identity. Recorded and mixed entirely by the band themselves, Musik zum Putzen reflects their DIY spirit and their focus on energy and authenticity.

Live, Containecks are known for unpredictable shows that combine raw power with a sense of playfulness. Their upcoming Fall Tour will feature songs from the new EP as well as material from across their catalogue.

Musik zum Putzen will be available on all major streaming platforms from September 5, 2025.

For fans of Electric Callboy, The Butcher Sisters, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.
