[NEWS] METAL DETEKTOR – New single “Grendel Returns” out now / Album Violence and Pride out June 20

Italian Heavy Metal veterans Metal Detektor return with a brand-new single, “Grendel Returns”, now available for streaming:

The track reveals a fiercer side of the band, showing the more combative energy behind their upcoming album "Violence and Pride", which is scheduled for release on June 20 via Rude Awakening Records, in a limited CD edition. The cover artwork, created by Mirko Cozza, has also been unveiled alongside the new single.

"Violence and Pride" arrives five years after their last full-length "The Battle of Daytona" and four years after the EP "Maximum Overdrive". While rooted in traditional heavy metal, the new album brings a more reflective tone and a narrative that feels increasingly personal. It was produced at the KK Recording Studio in Italy.
