[news] Poland’s thrash/death metal veterans Dragon announce release date for upcoming live album

Over 40 years later, Polish thrash/death metal veterans Dragon strike back with their first-ever full-length live album!

More than four decades after their formation, the legendary Polish thrash/death metal act DRAGON unleashes their first official live album, "Live In Pain". The material was captured during the band’s 2024 co-headlining tour with Wolf Spider, delivering a massive dose of raw concert energy packed into fourteen carefully selected tracks that span the band’s extensive career.

The album is promoted by a live video for the song “Nie Zginaj Kolan”, available now on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziXahmSB8hs

As a special treat for collectors, the CD edition includes two bonus tracks - “Dzień Pogrzebu” and “Niedaleki Koniec” - songs that previously appeared only on live compilations from the 1980s. This time, they have been recorded in the studio for the very first time.

The album’s powerful sound was shaped by Piotr Kowalski, who handled recording, mixing, and mastering of the CD version, while the vinyl edition received a unique sonic dimension through mastering by Piotr Mańkowski. The striking artwork was created by Szataniec, who also serves as the album’s publisher.

"Live In Pain" will be released on 31 October as a double vinyl (in multiple colour variants) and double CD.

Pre-orders for vinyl, CD, merchandise, and a strictly limited die-hard box edition are now available at: www.szataniec.pl
