Crá Croí present their debut single, “Radiation Romance”, out now! Crá Croí is a new Irish duo comprising RG (music, lyrics, production) and CD (vocals, artwork), based in County Cork, Ireland. The project name translates from Irish as “heartache” or “vexation of spirit”. The band’s sound merges post-punk, goth rock, metal, and modern textures into concise, melancholic, and memorable tracks.

“Radiation Romance” is available on all major streaming platforms alongside an official video. The single is defined by its driving synths, clean guitar lines, and distinctive, melodic vocals. The lyrics investigate love and destruction through a post-apocalyptic lens, balancing irony and emotional clarity. The production is entirely DIY, with RG and CD handling all music, art, and visual development in-house.

Crá Croí’s influences range from The Cult, Grave Pleasures, Beastmilk, and Fields Of The Nephilim to Type O Negative and The Sisters Of Mercy, placing them firmly in the tradition of 80s darkwave and contemporary alternative.

This debut marks the beginning of a run of singles leading up to a full-length album in 2026, with live performances planned.
