[news] SINGLE PREMIERE: Crá Croí release new Single "Feeding The Fear"
Cork, Ireland–based duo Crá Croí (Irish for "torment of the heart", "heartache" or "vexation of spirit" / pronounced: "Craw Kree") return with “Feeding The Fear,” their third consecutive single and a compelling continuation of the sonic world first introduced on debut release "Radiation Romance" and further developed on their sophomore single "Fires At Dawn".
Talking about "Feeding The Fear", the band explains: "Following the raw emotional weight of Radiation Romance and the smouldering drive of Fires At Dawn, Feeding The Fear marks another step forward, driven by distorted guitars. It is a song shaped by shadow, bound by shared stories, and built to outlast."
Drawing from post-punk, ethereal wave, dark wave, and goth influences, “Feeding The Fear” is a brooding and atmospheric exploration of uncertainty, resilience, and emotional survival. The track unfolds in a shadowed landscape of sirens, ghosts, and flickering light, capturing the tension between collapse and defiance.
Lyrically, Crá Croí frame themselves as “poets of the chaos,” chronicling broken dreams, lingering despair, and the pull between rising from the ashes or surrendering to the fall. Recurrent imagery of embers, wind, and darkness underscores the song’s central idea: confronting fear by feeding it, understanding it, and enduring through it.
