The Spectre Beneath return with their fourth studio album, The Devil's Whisper, to be released independently on July 17th, 2026. Following a three-year gap since The Ashen Child, the UK band continue to develop the modern power and progressive metal sound that has defined them since their debut in 2019.

The album continues storylines introduced on The Downfall of Judith King and revisited on The Ashen Child, with the title track and "Forgiveness" expanding the Judith King narrative. Elsewhere, the band draw inspiration from Hammer Horror films on "Sister Hyde" and "The Man Who Could Cheat Death", while "White Tulip" pays tribute to the television series Fringe.

Across nine tracks, The Devil's Whisper combines melodic songwriting with progressive arrangements, bringing together powerful vocals, heavy guitar work and intricate lead guitar performances. The CD edition also includes the exclusive bonus track "Inferno (End of Days)".
