Progressive rock outfit LUFEH return with Overwhelmed, their second studio album and a release shaped by progressive rock, metal, fusion and jazz influences.

Recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound studio in Los Angeles, the album arrives during a period of major changes inside the band. Guitarist Deio Tambasco joined LUFEH in October 2025, reconnecting with drummer Lufeh after decades of shared history that goes back to their earlier band Anno Domini in the 1990s. Bassist Duca Tambasco, Deio’s brother, is also part of the current line-up, bringing that long-standing musical connection back together inside LUFEH.

The album also introduces Ginny Luke as the band’s featured vocalist following the departure of original singer Dennis Atlas due to scheduling conflicts. Beyond vocals, Ginny also performs violin on “Overwhelmed”, “Feels Like I’m A Ghost” and “Live The New Today”, adding another layer to the record without pulling it away from its heavier progressive rock direction.

Across eight tracks, Overwhelmed moves between progressive rock, metal and fusion influences, mixing heavy riffs, melodic passages, double bass drumming and extended instrumental sections. The band describe the album as the result of years of work, maturity and finally recording in a studio tied to so many classic records.

Produced by keyboard player Gera Penna and mixed/mastered by Adair Daufembach, the record presents a more developed version of the sound LUFEH introduced on their debut, while keeping the focus on strong songwriting and musicianship.

Overwhelmed, due out on May 29, 2026, is the second album released since the debut album LUGGAGE FALLING DOWN in 2020.
