Dredge the Lethe have released their third full-length album, "Blood Metal", now available on all platforms. The record has been slowly taking shape since the band’s formation in 2020 and reflects a deep connection to the many styles and forms of metal that inspired it.

While not structured as a traditional concept album, "Blood Metal" was designed with a sense of narrative flow — beginning with an intro track, leading into the title track, and closing with a highly experimental epilogue. The band intended the album to be experienced in sequence, but each track stands on its own.

Songs like "Apocalyptic Dreams", "Swedish Chainsaw" and "Lord of The Pit" stand out as focused tributes to classic Swedish death metal and thrash — tight, unfiltered, and direct. At the same time, the album explores more chaotic and intense territory, aiming for something that’s both raw and emotionally driven.

The band describes Blood Metal as chaotic, intense, and, in their own words, beautiful — but they also know that it’s the listener’s experience that really defines the work. After years of writing and refining, they’re proud to finally share this record with the world.
