Italian rockers Forgotten Dream emerged from Cremona in late 2021, blending shoegaze, grunge, and dream pop into a sound uniquely their own. Their debut album, Cotton Candy & Pills, introduced dreamy, shoegaze-inspired tones, but their evolution since then has been remarkable.
With their latest release, Distorted Karma, the band takes a bold step forward. Partnering with producer Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab Recording Studio, Forgotten Dream delivers a heavier, more aggressive sound. The album fuses the raw energy of grunge, the attitude of punk, and melodic 90s alternative rock with the emotional depth of shoegaze. Tracks like "Rain in Reverse" and "Falling Down the Rabbit Hole" exemplify their transformation, combining distorted intensity with melodic undertones.
Since signing with Too Loud Records in 2023, Forgotten Dream has honed their creative vision, crafting a record that pushes boundaries while staying true to their roots. They’re now gearing up to take Distorted Karma on tour across Italy, promising performances that blend their new material with the energy and visuals fans have come to love.
