Swedish heavy metal band Neptune are highlighting their latest album “End of Time”, originally released in late 2024 via Pride & Joy Music, with the launch of a new video for the track “Brightest Steel”. Energetic, melodic, and uncompromising, the song reflects the qualities that define Neptune’s sound.
Formed in the early 1980s, Neptune emerged during the golden era of Scandinavian metal, building a sound rooted in traditional heavy metal while enriched with strong melodic elements. Often referred to as one of Sweden’s “lost pioneers,” the band gained a loyal following before disbanding in the mid-80s. Decades later, Neptune returned, showing that their music continues to resonate with both long-standing supporters and a new generation of listeners.
“End of Time”, the band’s third full-length album, represents a key point in Neptune’s history. Released by Pride & Joy Music, the record combines traditional heavy metal foundations with modern production, dynamic vocals, and powerful guitar work, creating an album that feels both classic and contemporary.
