UK extreme metal collective Outergods are set to unleash their new album "Dethroned & Devoured" on June 13, 2025, through Apocalyptic Witchcraft. Merging blackened death metal with chaotic industrial textures, the band delivers a record as suffocating as it is exhilarating. Ahead of the album's release, the band has already dropped the single "Cosmic Abomination".
Outergods formed their identity by embracing sonic extremity. "Dethroned & Devoured" stands as a brutal statement of that vision: dissonant riffs, relentless drumming, and guttural vocals shaped into an oppressive and menacing soundscape. The band builds a dense and abrasive atmosphere, channeling themes of chaos, madness, and decay. This is music that confronts the listener head-on, refusing to compromise.
The album was written by Nathe Sinfield and Patrick MacDonald, produced and mixed by Sinfield, and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano.
