FERAL are an untamed Spanish/American duo based in Amsterdam, built on pounding electronic beats and chainsaw guitar riffs. Imagine Cosmic Psychos and Atari Teenage Riot meeting up for a heavy night out, then waking up with a new band and a head full of ideas. That clash of brute-force punk energy and rave-burn electronics is the core of FERAL, a debut album that hits hard, moves fast, and never sits still for long.
In a scene where “egg-punk” often leans into synth-first aesthetics, FERAL cut through with something rougher and more physical. The originals bring a raw, loud, danceable charge, while the covers widen the palette in the best way: from obscure Spanish 80s new wave to 60s cuts like Los Brincos, from The Stooges to left-field country pivots. It shouldn’t work on paper. On record, it does, because the band commit to the madness and keep the momentum high.
