Bad Dog, a grunge-punk rock power duo from Argentine and based in Barcelona, have released the single “Bad Dog,” out since 18 August 2025. The track was recorded by the band’s original trio; since then, drummer Danny has left. Bad Dog now operate as a duo: Germán Villanueva (guitar, vocals) and Facu Bordone (drums, vocals).

“Bad Dog” keeps things lean and direct. The song draws on nineties-shot grunge and straight-ahead punk rock, played tight and without ornament. Years spent in other projects and on stage show in the details, the stops land clean, the chorus sticks, and the performance feels lived in rather than lab built. The band describe this as the first step of a larger plan. They are working on a first full length album that will push their raw mix of punk rock and grunge further.
