[news] Pure Obsessions & Red Nights proudly announces the release of The Night Trilogy - now available as 3 digipack albums

Philippe Deschemin who composed and produced the 3 albums says: “The Night Trilogy is over.Three albums, one story. After the Industrial Rock/Gothic Metal energy of the Mr. Strangler Trilogy, and the Alt-Rock/Postpunk tones of We Are the Stranglings, I dove headfirst into my '80s roots for this new journey — a 100% synth-driven trilogy. I produced The Night Trilogy using vintage synths and analog gear, aiming for a sound that’s both warm and unmistakably retro. The goal was to find a place between the spirit of my ‘80s influences — Depeche Mode, The Cure, Killing Joke — and the raw power of our Industrial Rock roots. The result: 80s vibes, synthpop grooves, darkwave atmospheres… all pulsing with industrial rock energy. This chapter is now complete. The Night fades, but not for so long ! The next cycle begins…”
In this trilogy, Mr. Strangler returns. The main character from the Mr. Strangler Trilogy was sentenced to death in the final act — “No Monsters in God’s Eyes – Act III.”
But in The Night Trilogy, he’s no longer quite alive… nor truly dead. Now a shade, a spirit wandering through the night, Mr. Strangler is something else entirely.
No longer a killer — he has become a guide. A presence in the darkness, helping lost souls, whispering to those on the edge. He haunts the night not to harm, but to heal.
To teach you how to live.
How to fight, when you think all hope is gone…
