Diverted Disorder is the kind of band that doesn’t just play music, they live it. Starting as a solo project in 2021, frontman Hardman reignited his passion for music after years away, recording songs in his home studio. By 2022, the project had evolved into a four-piece band, bringing in Kheel on guitar, Chris on drums and vocals, and Dirk holding down the bass and adding his voice to the mix. Their first live show in November 2022 was a turning point, showing that this was more than a personal project, it was a band ready to take on the world.
Their debut album, Technical Difficulties, dropped the same month, and it’s not just a collection of songs, it’s a reflection of their struggles and triumphs. The album hit home with fans, blending thrash, blues, death metal, and a touch of the unexpected, proving that Diverted Disorder isn’t interested in playing it safe.
Now, with "Portraits," they’re showing just how far they’ve come. The track hits hard, both musically and emotionally, tackling themes of depression and personal growth with honesty and power. As they gear up for their second album and a UK tour in 2024, it’s clear they’re only getting started. If you haven’t heard of them yet, now’s the time.
