Hailing from Larissa, Greece, Gus Drax has built an international reputation for his technical mastery, melodic vision, and emotive playing. From his early breakthrough with UK progressive metallers Biomechanical, to co-founding Sunburst, releasing his celebrated debut solo album In Search of Perfection, and serving as lead guitarist for Suicidal Angels during a decade of relentless touring and recording, Gus has consistently proven himself as one of metal’s most versatile and expressive players.

Now, after ten years with Suicidal Angels, Gus Drax embarks on a new chapter of his career — returning to his solo work with Theogonia Records. His upcoming instrumental release promises to push his artistry even further, blending speed, complexity, and emotional depth in a way that has become his unmistakable signature.
