Mylingen, a progressive extreme metal band from Sweden, will release their second EP "Svartsyn" on March 7, 2025. Following the debut album Under en svart himmel, released in the summer of 2024, this new record takes the band’s sound in a darker and more sinister direction while keeping the melodic foundation that has always defined their music.
The EP explores the depths of human nature, touching on themes of pessimism, hate, deception, lust, and anger. The lyrics are entirely in Swedish, adding an unfiltered emotional weight to the songs.
Recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Viktor Jonas at Studio Noir2 in Söderköping.
