[news] Ninkharsag release new EP "The Black Swords of Winter"

Ninkharsag have just released their new EP T"he Black Swords of Winter", now available in full via YouTube. Based in Liverpool, UK, the band continues the narrative introduced on their second album "The Dread March Of Solemn Gods".

This new chapter tells of the Black Swords of Winter, a grim cult seeking the means to open the gates of primeval chaos and undo the fabric of the universe. Musically, the EP offers six tracks of cold, melodic black metal rooted in tradition, running approximately 24 minutes in total.

Dark melodies echo through imagined snow-covered landscapes and ruined fortresses, with a sound shaped by atmosphere, speed and simplicity. The release was created with the same DIY spirit that has defined the band since the beginning.

"The Black Swords of Winter" is out now through Vendetta Records.
