With "Chains of Pain", the band continue to develop the heavier and more emotional side of their sound, pairing a direct, gritty approach with lyrics centred on pain, resilience and the way difficult experiences can shape our lives.

The song was inspired in part by themes explored in the film Collateral Beauty, starring Will Smith. Its lyrics look at the invisible weight that suffering and adversity can place on a person, while also reflecting on the possibility of finding meaning and beauty during difficult periods.

"Chains of Pain" is the second single to be taken from Jennifer Scream's forthcoming album Unfaithful.
