Wicked Asylum announce disbanding after 18 years

Italian heavy metal band Wicked Asylum have officially announced that they are disbanding after nearly two decades of making music, releasing albums and performing live.
The four-piece, featuring Banshee, Cioppa, Roby and Chiara, shared the news directly with fans, looking back on 18 years together while also confirming two final live performances before bringing the band to an end.
The band issued the following statement:
"After nearly 18 years of intense and extensive activity, Wicked Asylum is definitively disbanding.
It was by no means an easy decision to make, but it was necessary for us at this moment in history.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of our professional journey, but above all to all the friends we’ve met—two paths that often merged into one. A huge thank you also to those who have been part of our musical and personal journeys.
A special thank you goes to those who supported us in our crowdfunding campaigns, allowing us to share our music and our emotions.
Banshee, Cioppa, Roby, and Chiara will continue to support one another and remain a small, precious family.
We look forward to seeing you at our last two live shows, the first of which is on Saturday, November 7, at Amthrya’s release party alongside Madness of Sorrow at Dedolor Music Headquarters. More info about the final show will be available soon on our page"
