Dutch alternative rock outfit MOUNT TURMOIL have announced the release of their debut full-length album, Peak Living, due later this year as a self-released digital release.

With the album now officially unveiled, the band are also revealing the cover artwork and full tracklist, giving listeners a first in-depth look at what promises to be a diverse and emotionally charged record.

Peak Living moves confidently across multiple shades of alternative rock, blending grunge-driven intensity, heavier metallic moments, stoner-infused grooves, Britpop sensibility, and even punk-leaning urgency, all while maintaining the band’s own unmistakable identity. Across the ten tracks, MOUNT TURMOIL balance weight and melody with a strong focus on memorable songwriting and instantly singable hooks.

Lyrically, the album explores themes that feel deeply relevant and personal, from insecurity and addiction to global unrest and the courage of protest movements, all approached without falling into cliché. The result is a debut that feels both musically adventurous and emotionally grounded.
