Experimental atmospheric black metal entity ZKARV has unveiled its latest full-length album, Firmamental Dark, now available on Bandcamp as of April 14th, with streaming platforms and a limited 30-copy CD edition set to follow.

Marking the project’s seventh full-length release, Firmamental Dark continues ZKARV’s unpredictable and deeply immersive approach to atmospheric black metal. Once again embracing the cold isolation of woodland gloom, deathly ambience, and shadow-drenched textures, the album expands the project’s signature blend of dark ambience, evil shoegaze, and doom-laden riffing.

A suffocating darkness lingers throughout the record, where layers of sound slowly unfold into bleak emotional landscapes, guiding the listener through nameless graves, forgotten spirits, and hidden presences buried deep within the soundwaves. The result is an album that feels both meditative and menacing, balancing atmosphere with raw emotional weight.
