[news] Helldrifter prepare to begin work on new material

German melodic death metal band Helldrifter have confirmed that work on new material will begin after the summer.
The announcement came through the band's social media channels, where they revealed that a substantial amount of new music is already taking shape behind the scenes. While the writing process is still in its early stages, the band have made it clear that they are preparing for their next chapter.
The news follows a busy period for the southern German outfit. Over the past year, Helldrifter completed an extensive touring schedule that included a support run with Dutch death metal veterans Sinister. The band then continued performing club shows across Germany and are now preparing for a final series of festival appearances this summer while continuing to promote their latest release, Shell of Inexistence.
Although details about the upcoming material remain under wraps, the band have hinted that fans can expect a significant amount of new music once work officially begins.
Lead vocalist Billy Kolins comments: "Something new is brewing, and we're incredibly excited about what's coming. It will take some time, but one thing is for sure: there will be a lot of new material."
With the current touring cycle approaching its conclusion and writing sessions scheduled to begin after the summer, Helldrifter are already looking ahead to what comes next.
